DataGate for law enforcement is an AES-256 encrypted variant of Datalink's well proven DataGate used by commercial and government agencies for over twenty years. DataGate’s encrypted variant is an advanced version available for regional law enforcement and government military agencies. It also allows the sharing of GPS and other data between agencies, each operating their own DataGate, or by encrypted ODB database sharing routed through an affiliated DataGate. These can be operated independently by other agencies, such as state police, sheriff's departments, and local police departments. They can be hosted on local servers, in the cloud, or VPN networks (ODB) on a national basis. Adding Vocalis PoC for law enforcement allows you to have encrypted team talk wherever there is cellular or Thuraya satellite coverage.
DataGate network compatibility includes: 3G, 4G, and 5G cellular. UHF/VHF digital radios (NXDN, DMR, TETRA, ASTRO-25, MUPS). Inmarsat, Thuraya, and Iridium satellites.
Track ground personnel over cellular, satellite, or UHF/VHF.
GPS track aircraft with 20 second latency using Iridium SBD.
Track vehicles GPS location and maintenance schedules.
Select Engineering Services Automatic Injury Detection (AID) sensors, inserted into the carrier of a bullet proof vest, help save lives by automatically alerting dispatch and other officers of an injury. If a bullet, knife, or piece of shrapnel pierces the sensor, made from a flexible polyester panel with a conductive ink circuit, the system automatically sends a message over Bluetooth to a smart phone or land mobile radio. This immediately alerts dispatchers and other officers of the location of the injury as well as the GPS coordinates of the user. With the addition of DataGate, the system provides realtime notification, mapping, and historical evidential storage. Beyond the AID sensors, DataGate provides the additional value of realtime location tracking with 30 second or faster updates, driving habit monitoring, and the ability to view assets connecting over almost any connection method.
